    Ten or so years ago when Rutgers played that series with Arkansas, all the talking heads said we wouldn't have a chance with all that SEC speed.

    That combination of ticket sales and donations is pretty bad. I remember seeing this data from SEC schools and when you sum the amounts of donations + ticket sales + media deal > Big Ten except for places like Ohio St, Michigan ect.

    You're not factoring lost financial support from the bigger donors. My understanding is they still stand behind the guy. Now if I'm wrong in that assessment, then yeah, the ice just got that much thinner under his feet.

    That's probably about right. He'll be given more time with a larger NIL budget, but don't think he'll ever get fired, unless he loses support from all the "big money." He could, however, be nudged out, into retirement.

    Wonder what GS's record is in the last 4 years of each tenure? Those early years need throwing out because of the debacles that preceded them. Still, with the recent relative increase in NIL by out new AD, he's probably on the clock, albeit in an increasingly costly environment for talent...

    Schiano is as good as it gets until you increase the NIL bucket. A condition precedent for anyone worthwhile coming here will be a bigger war chest (see eg, VT, Indiana, ect.). Until you get that figured out, might as well stick with the guy.

    Not all these guys rated yet. They will be. TOS has us ranked in the mid-30's. Not saying that's great, but your narrative likely doesn't fit the what will eventually be the facts.
