I was really impressed with him.
And just asking, did anyone else think that last pass to tie the game was pass interference?
Looked like he had his hands wrapped around the receiver?
After seeing NAZ and JCA play for the first time today, there is not a public school in 5A that would come close to beating them. Any game would have been another blow out. Good thing they didn’t have to play each other till the final game and made for a good state final match up. This being...
I randomly started watching it because some other games were just getting over, I tuned in right when Monticello was driving with 3 min left in the game, I was amazed with their QB throwing darts all the way down field to score with 6 seconds left. Then the ending was unreal with the one second...
Sterling beat the SF second string in the second half 15-0 lol that was actually a competitive game.
The 2nd string of SF would probably go 4-5 if not 5-4 in the WB6 if that tells you how good their starters are.
Give this young Sterling team a couple more years and they may make a better run...
Exactly what I would have said on Sterling SF game, except don’t forget the 4 or so Sophomore starters too
Maybe in a couple years but good experience for them. I’ll be happy if there is no running clock
Yep, very well could be. Especially seeing it’s in Quincy. Funny thing is I thought the East Moline game was one of Sterlings better games this year, at least offensively. The Geneseo game was not encouraging at all at least on the offensive side of the ball. Building year for Sterling, lots...
Sterling will probably be the best defense Quincy has seen this year but even so I expect them to put up at least 30 points, very unlikely Sterling will match that unless it all clicks for once. Quincy is ranked #2 in 7A btw
