It doesn’t. His dad has been an effective communicator for him. He said Trey will redshirt his first year. I like that scenario a lot. He comes in without the pressure to start and gets to learns from a senior who is not threatened by him.
What is a Showcase? My friend was telling me his son wants one. He also told me the kid doesn’t start, isn’t very coachable and doesn’t like to practice. He does want the showcase though because that’ll move the needle.

Would have loved to have seen Khabib against GSP in their prime. GSP didn’t start out as a wrestler, but that part of his game improved fight after fight. His takedown defense was really good.

This may be my only satisfaction, that teams with a chance to win a title do not meet fan and donor expectation. LSU can win 95% of their games and if they don’t get the title, that ain’t good enough. I will enjoy their misery.
