    Yeah, I am not a fan of the obviously fake injury. I wish they could find a way to penalize such actions. But I don’t know how that would work and it would be highly subjective and cause issues.

    Not saying Leo had a great game, but his fake injury was very smart. We were about to get a penalty before he did that. Very smart play by him.

    I have seen them review the down a few times. Usually it takes 15 seconds. It was very weird that it took them 3 minutes to figure it out.

    No doubt it is highly impressive. Nobody on this Board can do it except for Swedenburg. I saw some other videos of her drilling 35 yarders with a normal 2 step drop. I just wanted to point out that the 55 yarder needed to be viewed in proper context.

    A little context to consider. She kicked it like a kickoff, with 4-5 strides covering 7-8 yards vs 2 quick steps covering 3-4 yards like a real field goal kick. In other words, what she did is more equivalent to doing a high school kickoff Into the end zone rather than kicking a 55 yard field goal.

    Good point msstate7. I would take the quality of our nfl guys over any other college. But we lag behind in quantity and definitely on all-American recognition and consistently get disrespected on all-conference selections. That has been changing the last few years though. Things are looking up...

But as we sit here today, neither Smith, nor Sweat have ever played an NFL down. Chris Jones is a beast, but only has 100 tackles and 24 sacks...

    I’m sure State would have made the “just missed the cut” list. But even Tennessee at #10 has had 3 multi-year pro-bowlers in Ellis, Henderson, and Haynesworth. Who has been drafted from State since 2000 that has made a pro bowl impact beyond Cox and now Chris Jones?

    In addition to all the above, the “ya’ll lifestyle” is also a specific brand Bo apparently created that sells hats, t-shirts, etc.,. So Bo references “ya’ll lifestyle” a lot in his show as a shameless plug for his product. Free advertising in other words.
