Talk to an independent insurance agent and look for a high deductible plan with Golden Rule or somebody. You will make up for the out of pocket with the premium savings. I got priced out of my group plan years ago and have come out way ahead.

I drove through there around lunch last week against my better judgment. It’s awful. If I go to commerce from Mcingvale I just take Mt Pleasant. Same amount of time.
Sorta related…I caught discovery show on Hurricane Ian last night. These dudes put a camera on a pole in a waterproof box to film storm surge. It caught a house being washed away. Turns out a couple and their 2 dogs were in it. Wound up surviving somehow by hanging onto a tree for hours...
