The problem is not the athlete or the statements made by any athlete, the problem is that these leagues take the stance to support a specific thing (pride month, BLM, etc) that is separate from the sport itself, causing the players to feel that they need to voice their side when it is differs...
For Basketball I'm going to throw Brandon Vincent on this list...that dude was the epitome of a team player, all hustle, all heart.

I go down rabbit holes watching folks relic hunt. Really like arrow heads, civil war metal detecting, and one channel I watch is a guy in ala that hunts for very old turn of the century bottles. Adventure archeology I believe.

I dont think you go to extras with the overall #1 team and lose by 1 to a legit top 10 team on the road, and say we are overrated. We are really good, they are really good, and it will remain that way for the remainder of the season in all likelihood.
