Nominate: The Week 6 State Wide Coach of the Week

Coach Q at BR. Only a handful of starters with significant playing time from last year. Two loses to LA and LWE by a combined 4 points. Held it together and coached a near flawless game against MC.

    LWE 22 v BR 21 F

Rice secondary and LBs are a major weakness. OL huge but doesn't finish blocks and lazy. Qb needs to solidified in next 2 weeks. Need to run the damn ball!!!!!!!!!!

    CCL Class of 2030

Rice started with over 70. Sophs are thin with quite a few up on varsity.

St. Rita Just Got Better, Maybe?

Allegedly kid has an agent. Family is first generation and hired an agent to look out for their child's best interest. Are you serious?? Agents are like piranhas who only care about their bank accounts. This is getting out of control.

ND opts out of Bowl season. Thoughts....

Unfortunately, Coogs wasn't guaranteed the starting spot. Sucked because he was a blue n gold guy through and through. Injuries allowed him to slide into the spot after earning a starting role. When Harry H left, the writing was on the wall for the old guys. Nature of the business. Glad Pat is...

ND opts out of Bowl season. Thoughts....

As a die hard ND fan, I was initially shocked by their decision. The selection process isn't fool proof and things happen. Control your destiny so you don't let others make the choice for you. That's the old school mentality we grew up with. Still holds true today. Opting out was a team...

Who was the middle aged Crusader bare chested in the stands?

Just a turkey bird showing his BR pride. Great BR family and community member.

Maybe a free ticket to the game and a frozen hot dog will win the over

Poor planning on IHSA's part. You cannot predict the weather but they didn't have a contingency plan in place. Anyone in special events will tell you to have plans ABC. The kids deserve better. Some parents and extended family members are going to miss the game due to work obligations. Student...

It is Concerning No Details for 5-8A Announced

Thought the same thing regarding Sundays until I looked up the IHSA by-laws. Contests may be played on Sundays.

    2025 Non-Conference Games

Does playing out of state teams earn playoff points? If so, i can understand most teams shying away from the opportunity. I recall BR playing BR from Birmingham followed by a team from Indianapolis the next week. Cool experience for the kids but costly travel expenses and possible non playoff...

Worst kept secret on the southside. Has the name recognition and NFL career behind it, but can he coach?

    Teams with most Returning Starters

Contrary to your opinion (Saders), Zunica himself, would tell you that the IA department at BR has stepped up big time. Multiple projects in the works with more to follow. Mike definitely laid the blueprint and set the tone, but others have carried the ball across the goal line. Old principal...
