    Forced consolidations will never happen. I fully believe high school sports will eventually fade away into the club landscape. Lack of coaching (because very few in schools want to do it anymore for the multitude of reasons) and roster sizes will push schools to begin dropping activities.

    I feel teams that opt down should be responsible for creating their own schedule and should not be included in districts or create a "district" with other teams that are opting down.
