    I don't know this for sure, I could be very wrong. But I am under the impression that very top-end changes like adding more classes per sport, open classes, etc do not need votes. I think transfer stuff would need by law changes with member votes.

    good point with application of model, because on this topic- knowing how our IHSA likes to operate- I don't think they would consider anything unless they are going to separate for all the major sports. I just can't see IHSA separating for football only. Probably needs to be something that can...

    Yes I know NIL is legal in IL. I've seen some athletes post their NIL, many times it's a "brand ambassador" thing, or use "my code" to purchase something and they get a kickback. I've yet to hear of a IL athlete actually being paid significant cash from anywhere to play. Maybe it's happening...

    State Final Schedule Recommendation Discussed at the December Football Advisory Committee Meeting

    Coaches seeding works out so well in baseball (not) that the association has been trying to push bringing in PBR, max preps, or some sort of computer ranking that takes into account strength of schedule, talent, etc. I'm all for anything that isn't just coaches seeding teams.

    Obviously he's biased, but I suggest people check out Conor Stallions X account where he has some detailed breakdown of what JJ is going through, using game film. Very eye opening for me and might change your tune about how much "fault" is his with what has been going on...
