    We do that here and call it The Iditarod. Granted, not on racing bkes though. Some intrepid adventurers have raced tye off-road bikes along the route and I believe it is now an offshoot race of its own, but nothing like TDF, and there are no roads to close!

    Koolaid was invented here, we consume mass quantities, should be the obvious for our second patch. It would commemorate a great Nebraska creation, there is a Museum in Hastings, and it would be so appropos. TO was born in Hastings too, what a tie in.
