Why does college prospect factor in at all to player of the year? Who plays the best and has the most impact to his team? That is the key to a HS player of the year.
At this point I see Fitzgerald or the RB from Loyola ahead of everyone.
Horrible tailgating experience. No space and very unwelcoming.
Not sure why they celebrate after the games on the field. Tons of room in the end zones. The 8A game was 1hr late this year. Last year 2 hours late.
Sometimes I regret that I spend anytime on this nonsence.
North closed tragic for everyone involved. Especially the tax payers Teacher and students. They reallocted zip codes. FF Square kids got sent to East. I'm sure others went Tinley or Andrew. East has space limits itself. They had to shift...
Est 90 kids on Varsity roster. 70 are either Frankfort Falcons or Frankfort Square Wildcats. A few from the Providence Celtics and Mokena Burros also in the area. Many of the rest "never played" football before HS and a few transfers in like every public schools over the last 4 years. Divorced...
You cant throw into coverage. Much different when you have capable DB's?
Which side's Offense got the job done? Lots of talk this week about a shaky East O. And how East hasn't seen a Offense like Barrington. Not from my seat.
LWE ave 35 pts per game and "never runs" the score up. When the game is in hand they run dives grind clock and take knees. So Barrington is 37 pts average and have had some shootouts that needed more points. No too far apart.
If East beats Loyola- Tischer or Durkin
If Batavia beats Mt Carmel- Boe, Even if they lose state to DGN.
If Carmel wins it all- Dupree
If DGN wins it all- Noah Battle
I would wait a few games. 8 more significant quarters to be played. Every play will matter now.
I would also suggest 8A 7A or 6A. Its a different level of football on the field.
Much more competitive 11 players across the line for 13 games.
No, we never played them.
Ask a Defensive Coordinator or a father of DL top commit if there is risk. I have, and they agree.
Then I realized none of that on this board. Only a bunch of washed up dad bods that know it all and want to point out how soft everyone is.
I never mentioned the...
Getting tackled is different impact. Especially to lower body joints. He is obviously not a running back.
I believe its an un needed gimmick. I would not do it if I was a coach. Why risk it. It could end his game and season, god forbid his career for nonsense.
Using the logic that...
Funny post. Basketball is not the same. A good LB will topple him and use his weight against him. Simple question what would the crowd say if he did get hurt running the ball? OMG!!!
