    Agreed I just don't think they should call for Arnettes head if he doesn't do great this year..... give it time and see what could grow. Obviously people were calling for Boykins head after one year but according to things I heard it wasn't just because of football matters.

    You've got a great point but I think it varies from case to case. I think keeping it in house in those smaller areas is a good idea IF the in house candidates are solid. A lot of the schools you named hire in house people who have been around the program a good while and pretty much pick up...

    That big booster club and the opinions and egos are a threat and can hold clinton back if things don't change. They have to realize its a new day, high school football has changed a lot in the last 10 years even this isn't the old days anymore. The kids are different, the needs are different...

    The oldheads of Clinton pushed for an alumni hire because of course nobody but a dark horse can really lead such a program (STUPID) Boykin has 12 years of HC experience and only 3 winning seasons, never won more than 7 games in a season... I am not sure but maybe theres a reason his resume looks...
