    The ruling is a victory for the conservative ideals of constitutional originalism and a plain text reading. 3 activist judges (Alito, Thomas and Gorsuch) abandoned their conservative principles to make a political statement.

    Most cross the border. My clientele is mostly Guatemalan and a lesser amount of Mexicans. There are some visa overstays as well.

    It definitely has become more difficult. Our business changes depending on politics. When an administration is hostile to immigrants (Trump 1 and 2 and Obama 1) the business shifts to removal defense. When it is more favorable then it becomes more petitions with the Immigration service (USCIS).

    The family and community structures are very strong....especially churches. They help each other.

    There are some who are, but the system is not set up for that. They are not regular judges in an Article 3 sense. They are employees of the Attorney General and work at his pleasure. If they are not towing the line, they will be fired.

    Very very low. Most of my clients have nothing more than a traffic ticket on their record. Are there bad guys out there? Absolutely. I dont think anyone (including my clients) think those types should be allowed to stay.
