    Most overrated- High West, especially the higher priced bottles such as Prisoners share. Not good. Was an idiot and spent $40 on one drink.

    Best I had- pappy 12 year. Neighbor somehow wins the lottery for it every year. But Blanton’s is my favorite. Not easy to get on the east coast. My go to is Woodford reserve. Just smooth and tasty.

    Seriously? Are you going on the past couple stories 30 years ago? I’ve lived in Philly for 13 years, am a cowboys fan, and haven’t had any issues. At the game, it’s full of a lot of south jersey fans.

    I can’t guarantee that ther wasn’t any money from the big 10 coming into research. I can say that it’s so minimal compared to NIH grants that are the gold standard to getting tenure or advancement. And there is no way I hell that the big 10 s getting a disproportionate amount t of nih funding...

    Pretty sure they meant to say TV money. I’d like another school in the BIG10 fan’s perspective. Maybe there is a $billion payout for research? Federal NIH budget is about $62 billion to all schools and people in the US last year so I’m doubting the big 10 budget.

    The standard for most schools for a professor like me to get tenure are NIH grants. I doubt you can survive on Big 10 grants for that. Not enough money from big 10 grants. Of note, I’m at an Ivy League school (but Philly), and I have never seen an Ivy League only grant opportunity.
