    Irish Open

Sorry, Doc, but there's plenty of great links golf available in both Ireland and Scotland in order to avoid adding a single penny/pence(?) into the pockets of one Donald J. Trump (the fact that the LIV apologist Norman was the original designer of Doonbeg is even another reason not to play...

Nia Coffey Is Having A Nice Season In Year 9

9 years? Can that be true? Dang I am getting old and forgetful... What a good player she was for us. Did her brother stick on an NBA team? Talented family

    Mart in the NBA

Saw Nick at 55 this morning in the Athletic's latest mock. Golden State strikes me as a very good spot for a guy like Nick.

    KJ Windham to the portal

Sorry I missed it. What was the rumored "off season reason?" I thought KJ was going to take a huge jump after the way he finished his freshman season. Hope he finds a place to shine.

    NU vs. NU

Perhaps they recognized Fitz's limited career at Northwestern? Lipsky played four years and graduated. Fitz played one quarter and turned pro.

Only 3 strikeouts? Seems like an odd way to get a no-hitter in softball. Congrats Marina!

Very nice read on women's sports at NU

One thing from the article that is probably overlooked -- such as the Rock thread on the search for a new women's basketball coach -- is the fact that the incredibly successful women's teams at NU are led by female coaches. With all due respect to Coach McKeown (who I consider to be a friend)...

Martinelli's buzzer beater ekes out a 63-62 win over Oregon

Man we shot the ball poorly in that 1st half. Should have blown that team out

    Gotta give these guys credit

Not anymore. Unless you’re out due to documented injury, 1 game is too many. Otherwise I’d say give Bannerman some run

    Game Thread: Northwestern vs. Indiana

And yet the zebras decided to review it without a challenge! Yeah the non-call against Gelo wasn't good, but neither was that foul call against Tre. And they missed at least five fouls against Nick at the other end of the floor!
