Pretend for a second that UK was the school looking for a coach

I’m presumed to be a U6 fan because I ask a silly hypothetical question? I don’t get it!

He didn’t beat my butt. I was one of those singing his praises when he was hired. I just use him as an example of how a bad coaches market can force your hand as a school no matter how elite they are.

But yet we managed to hire Billy Gillespie. How did that happen?

I guess I was. How excited were you when we announced Billy Gillespie as our new HC? Was he considered elite at the time? Look...I just think there’s a large gap between fan expectations and reality when it comes to coaching hires.

I’ll make sure to pass that along with a smile, but you seem to forget the we hired Billy Gillespie! We can chalk that up as an outlier, but It happened. So, to make such a blanket statement that Mack wouldn’t even be on our list seems nonsensical.

So, out of the gate I get called an idiot and man leaping to his death over such a ridiculous question. My reason for the question is based solely on there being a down market for coaches. Sorry!!

Well!! Tell me how you really feel! Fist off, it’s my wife who’s the U6 fan, and as much as I hate it, I wouldn’t go as far as calling her an idiot.
