    I think Pope is one of those guys that gets emotionally involved in things like recruiting and isn’t able to change the course even when new information is presented.

    That’s funny right there. Stoops leaves the cupboard bare and you’re hoping Stein can do as good as him. I was however surprised by the wide receivers being nonexistent so far. There is talent but they were completely outmatched by the coverage.

    It takes time to fill the empty roster top to bottom. I hope it doesn’t get out of hand but having a good first string isn’t enough. Stein is gonna have to have talented reserves before the bad losses stop. There simply isn’t enough time in one off season to fill every hole the blessed Stoops...
