    What's is interesting is both Bassett and Harer would not be eligible to wrestle in high school in NJ because of age. They both turned 19 before September 1, 2025 and will be 20 years old when they enter college. Harer is 5 days older than Bassett.

    Yara wins at Bill Farrell

    Yara won a tournament in Egypt in October. Heā€™s wrestling 97kg and looks really good. He is training at Cornell while working in New Jersey. Hope to see him continuing to excel.

    Congratulations Anthony. You put Rutgers wrestling on the map. When others said "no" to RU, you said YES and were an undefeated National Champion". In my book, you will always be the face of Rutgers Wrestling!

    Shayne Van Ness is a really good wrestler who is an even better person. His parents told him his choice of college will be his first decision he the will make without parental influence, He turned down Princeton, Rutgers, and Cornell. You have to respect the manner his parents are raising him.
