WHAT'S UP WITH AUBURN RECRUITING? LEGIT?

I would think his style of play appeals to recruits. He lets his guys play through mistakes. Almost an organized chaos. If I was a non-top 25 kind of guy and Cal, K nor Roy were not knocking at the door, i'd want to play in that kind of system.

    South American point guard

Who was the recruit that Marc swore was the next Dirk?

Shoutout to all my fellow TBK'ers who also paid for that lifetime membership! Money well spent.

Herro going nuts again, NBA TV

I can't bring myself to watch any of Bam's NBA games. Just thinking about what he should have been here makes my head hurt. He was a non-factor on offense here...pretty much relegated to catching the occasional lob. In the league he's uber-confident and essentially a point guard in a center's...

    Cal says...

As far as closing, i'm a bit worried that Ashton appears to be our most consistent offensive player. He's turnover prone and I still don't completely trust him as a closer. Maxey has the ability to be that guy but he has had some terrible shooting games since Mich State. I was beginning to...

    EJ has woke up

I totally agree when you have the personnel to make this happen. The Wiltjer/Goodwin and Ulis/Murray/Skal teams did not have that. I get that Cal is a defense first coach but when you don't have the talent to be that you have to adjust.

    EJ has woke up

I feel like it's the coach's responsibility to get the most out of his players. There are ways to mask player weaknesses (i.e. zone) but Cal prefers to sit guys. Same thing happened with Kyle. He was significantly better at Gonzaga because Mark Few found a defensive scheme that hid his poor...

    EJ has woke up

Which is why he should have played away from the basket. His jumper is a thing of beauty but we had him in the post shooting jump hooks. I think Cal even admitted himself that he coached him wrong.

    EJ has woke up

I could be wrong but for a lot of dudes it seems like the issue has been confidence. I still believe Skal was completely mismanaged here. He was completely shook. By the time Cal decided to back off and let him play to his strengths it was too late.

    EJ has woke up

EJ's upside is crazy. Excited to see Cal finally able to get something out of a skilled big besides jump hooks and post ups.

KSR without Matt Jones is hard to listen to.

I'm surprised more competent competition hasn't popped up after all these years. No reason for KSR to add any real radio talent outside of Matt when there is no competition.

What’s up with offense this season ?

As far as college basketball as a whole, the answer is simple. We've moved away from teams playing inside out and focused HEAVILY on the three point shot. Few teams these days have competent low post scorers so guess what happens when you also can't shoot from deep. You have teams full of...

What’s up with offense this season ?

We are actually running some pretty good stuff on offense. Guys just have not been making shots until the last couple games. The average fan sees a missed shot and automatically thinks the play was poorly run or it's bad offense. Once guys settle in and get more comfortable in their roles and...

Rajon Rondo 17th all-time in Assists in NBA History

That year in Dallas was also a throwaway. I didn't think he would recover. I thought he would take all the blame and end up getting blackballed like Melo.

Rajon Rondo 17th all-time in Assists in NBA History

17th all-time actually sounds low. Feels like Rondo as averaged in the range of 8-9 assists per game for the last 10 years. I don't remember many pass first PG's who played at that elite of a level for that long a period of time.
