OT: The Shine Is Off Coach Prime

I didn't phrase that well. I meant bad or good. (And now that I think of it, I like Jones more than most folks do. I fear he might make a comeback with a different team.)

    OT: Any baseball card collectors?

My Mom gave all mine away while I was at college. I turn 75 tomorrow, so I had Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Yogi, Larsen, Colavito, etc. When Skillethead Jr started collecting in the 80's we got a bunch of pretty good ones. Have Tinkers, Evers, and Chance, a bunch of Sandy Koufax's and even a Moe...

OT: My wife could use some good thoughts/prayers (updated 5/16)

Hey Bird, I'm not religious but I do like the Beach Boys, so sending Good Vibrations all the way from New Zealand. Hang in there, mate!

OT: Who makes the BEST Pizza You’ve ever had?

Santillo was Moms Skillethead's grandpa, hence my grandfather-in-law. Run now by her cousin Al now. I've never been there! We were in Chicago a few weeks ago and tried a relatively new Chicago style place. They had a thin crust deep dish pizza. Now you might think that that was impossible...

I did like Mayfield, and Darnold. I'm afraid that Dart is going to be the next Daniel Jones or Phil Simms. Next year is balloon passes to Nabers. Might be fun.

OT: The Shine Is Off Coach Prime

I said Rosen would either be the next Johnny Manziel or the next Tom Brady. He had a lot of skills and was really smart, but he was a head case and he went the Manziel route. And you were a big Darnold guy, who is on his fifth team and has had one good season. Of course, I was a big Darnold...

Great Spring Game for our Starting QB ? Oh Boy!

Our backup is 6'2" 215. However, watching some film, with those supersized helmets, all the players looked like they were pee wee players.

OT: The Shine Is Off Coach Prime

I think it's worthwhile to keep in mind that there were only about 6-7 teams who were looking for a QB this draft, and two of them picked one up in the first round. Thus, it wasn't the NFL who was passing on Shedeur (whom, by the way, I like. Happy that my Browns got him finally.). It was New...

    OT: Sanders....lol

Thanks, 05. I'm thinking vk might have just been goofing as I think he knows I have a PhD in stats. Clearly Sanders' stats are superior. Ewers' team had an excellent season, but then again, I think they just put 12 guys into the NFL draft.

OT: The Shine Is Off Coach Prime

As a long-time Cleveland fan, I'm pleased with the pick. I think he'll start Day 1. The question is whether his weaknesses get exploited in the NFL and he fades, or whether he can correct those and build on his strengths? Neither Stefanski nor Berry looked happy when the pick was announced...

OT: The Shine Is Off Coach Prime

I think the calculus is not all that complicated. With Sanders comes the circus that is Deion Sanders, and apparently Shedeur as well. NFL teams are made up of people who work incredibly hard to try to be successful. The problem is that Shedeur's ability is not sufficiently strong to take the...
