    I was there at the "old"Garden..Remember watching the late great Jimmy Walker of Providence put on a great show in first game..Garden was full and rocking and R.U. was definitely an up and coming program..Hard to believe 50 years have passed and we are still rebuilding ..

    Have not seen movie,but the heroism of those who helped evacuate over 500,000 people from lower Manhatten on 9/11 reinforces my belief in the human spirit. NYC Boat lift doc...narrated by Tom Hanks is a must see.. IMO..

    RU to honor Valvano, Lloyd, and the 1967 team...

    Yep..I was there as a RU freshman and remember it well..If there were a 3point line Bobby Lloyd would have scored 200..He had a picture perfect release and along with Jimmy V. almost unstoppable. Hard to believe it was almost a half century ago.Thanks for sharing the memory..
