    I am sure that Pope has ability as, I am sure he possesses positive attributes. The problem I have is that he just seems to be too goofy, an innate awkwardness , that makes it doubtful that we can expect him to successfully run a program like UK.

    Pope may want to reconsider his closing routine during a recruiting visit. You know the one where he puts on his old UK uniform and does his best cheerleader presentation.     The roster has a couple of good pieces but overall, this is not a good team (on paper). On a high note, there will be no upsets this year unless it is us doing the upsetting.

    If you can explain his system, it would be greatly appreciated. I saw nothing resembling a system over the last two years. I did see 26 losses though. Surely that is not the goal of his system.

    Selective memory my friend. Reed had the worst game of his life in that NCAA matchup. He played a lot and, he was absolutely horrible. He had the deer in the headlights look the entire game. He is one of my favorite players but, he was very bad for that game.

    He did have the best guard in the nation but the front court was very shaky at best. Pringle and Ewin were just not that good. We had much better inside players although they rarely showed up.

    Sorry man, I am more concerned about our team. I don't worry about other teams. Sure, I have teams I like and dislike but not to the level that I start posting about it. I truly appreciate good basketball and, I truly wish we had it at UK. I am afraid it will be a while before we see it again...

    Across the board Mo's stats were lower than they were last season. You are right on about the 3 point shooting . He shot 40 % last season and half of that this season.
