    Any time you bring in 24 teams there is going to be issues with how the divisions shake out, can't make everyone happy. Maybe I am wrong but the 4 divisions wasn't a solution to a problem, it was the set up, during initial placing there was some back and forth etc...which should happen, no...

    Rita plays up almost every year. CCL has set up its conference to get as many teams in playoffs as possible, they have the advantageous position of have 6 div of 4 teams. There are crossovers and everyone gets a good taste of top competition. Also, there is a wide ranging competition level...

    New 26-27 enrollments out

    Marian Central and IC both under 300 kids. I know MCC has been declining for some years but I kinda lost track of them. 10 years ago MCC had almost 700 kids and now have 266 for 25-26 school year, yikes.

    Spit balling here, what about some type of "one time free transfer" per student and then more stringent adherence to the current rules? In the end it is all about what they are trying to accomplish.

    I could be wrong since IHSA has changed how they do classifications but my understanding is 2026-2027 classification is based on true 2025-2026 numbers. So basically the year before true enrollment then the obvious double if all boy/girl and multiplier if applicable.
