    Yes, MC played poorly for three quarters and Wheaton couldn't close it out. In the fourth quarter, Simeon Rice looked like Richard Dent out there and Mike McGrew redeemed himself with that game-winning run. As Dean said, that game radicalized me.

    In 1990, Carmel beat Wheaton Central, 24-0. JCA took 4A and Althoff Catholic 3A. In '91, the Caravan beat the Tigers again, 21-14. The referee was human, not corrupt. . Also in '91, Providence took 4A and ESL crushed GBN, 48-6. All the games are on YouTube.
