    OT: MS Delta tour

    Bar Fontaine, rooftop bar in the Cotton House Hotel in Cleveland, is closed until April for remodeling. Staple restaurant downstairs is pretty good but is small with a small menu. Lena pizza in Cleveland is great but only open Thursday to Saturday nights.

    OT: Jackson Memorial Stadium today.

    I worked for 16 years across the street from the stadium. It was normal to see buzzards on Monday and Tuesday after a game feasting on morsels left from tailgates. Sometimes they seemed to be so full that they’d have to wait to fly off.

    2nd generation heading to State

    I graduated in ‘87. This Friday I’m taking my daughter to Orientation for her first year at State. Proud Dad to say the least. Hitting The Lodge Thursday afternoon to buy her first cowbell.

    Inspector of the 1-40 bridge fired that missed the crack in ‘19

    Arkansas DOT does the inspection from the bridge deck down in house. So he was an employee of ArDOT. Consultants inspect everything above the bridge deck. The consultant that found the problem last week wasn’t inspecting that part of the bridge. Just happened to look down and saw the fracture.

    I have one child that graduated last year from Hartfield and one that’s a 9th grader this year. My Mom was a teacher so I know enough about education to be dangerous.     Well, I did it

    That’s awesome! Welcome to the PE club! Order a stamp and seal. You may not use them but they’re good to have. One other suggestion is to join the local Engineering Society and be active in it. MS has a pretty strong society and our Director is also the director for Alabama.

    Another BBQ Topic - bacon and summer sausage

    That's a really good cookbook. Just be careful of the amount of salt that you use. The first time I went straight by the recipe and the bacon was really salty. Play around with the recipe and decide what you like.

    I've seen the USM Truck and Trailer twice this week in Pearl and Richland. It looks good. I don't have a problem with our little brothers having decent looking vehicles to carry their gear to games.
