    It should really be Kirk losing this job as it's basically the same offense he installed there in 1999 and he's the one who's kept his son in place as OC. If the offense remains the same and Iowa struggles, I'm guessing Kirk just decides he's done and/or the admin helps him come to that conclusion.

    I like this and believe the NFL considered it previously (don't think this is the XFL's original idea). IMO - it makes the conversion more exciting and attainable than an onside kick based on current success rates, while making you risk more. Fair tradeoff and a change I'd be good with.

    The one game I recall Mathison coming in and playing significant time was '82 Mizzou. TG went down afte rthe cheap shot and Bruce kept things on track in what was a close game. Rozier was also dinged up but played through it.
