    I think it was more about Fitz getting Sparty ready for this one to be honest. I don't think we were taking the game lightly and I actually don't think we played "badly" so much as Sparty played pretty well and go up for this one.

    Reason for the fake punt

    my best argument for it is we aren't feeling great about the DB/WR matchup and the fake punt meant we either kept it or kept enough time on the clock after a sparty score to get the ball back. if we kicked it deep they would have burned more clock and potentially won with a walkoff FG edit...
