    USC/OU game thread

They took 20 3pts and made 9 which is about the average for every team in the SEC we will play. There is no such scenario that this team with no Super Athletic big man can 2pt our way to victories or for such any team in our conference. I think the balance was just right and if we can continue...

Dawn Has Another Birdie in the Nest

Alecia Tournabize is 6'7 not 6'4 which changes things dramatically as far as her skill set. Also she has been playing in the French professional league so she will be further along in the physicality of the game than the normal high school athlete coming into college. As far as Maddy, she is...

Nice win for Dawn last night and the "Real SC"

Uconn struggled to beat a mediocre Louisville team by 13 earlier last week. A team that went down to the wire today with Clemson before winninf by 10. Uconn only scored 69 pts in that game. South Carolina will definitley be able to compete with them but it is early and all teams will improve.

Sellers draft status. Serious question on his future here

Then that is just assinine. No qb could operate behind the o-line we have had this year, and eventually it would affect the best qbs mental state and accuracy. We will do what we do to shoot the kid that has done all he could for our program, and he will go to another school with an at least...

    Fulwiley is gone

This so false it isn't even funny. Last year not only was the team top 5 in offense in the country but we were also top 3 in the country in 3pt shooting percentage. Go to NCAA stats and put in 2024 stats and you might learn a little about the team you claim to know about

    Bring back Susan Walvius!!!!

Given the fact the Texas is now #2 in the country and though we lost a 4 pt game at their place a last week, we soundly beat them at our place by 17, I would say we have enough to bounce back and still win it all asl long as we correct our faults.

"Hit the road, Lamont" . . . agree or disagree?

They listed to amount of NIL money spent on Mens BBall teams in the SEC and we were dead last. I think that is what Donati spoke to when he mentioned that Paris needed more support. Given that fact, we probably are overachieving playing close contests with top 5 teams.

    WBB vs UT

At the end of the game, it was noted that South Carolina was only the 3rd team in the past 25 years that played 5 straight top 20 ranked teams and finish undefeated. The other two were one of Pat Summitt's Tennesee teams and one of UConn's juggenaught National Championship Teams

    WBB vs UT

I attend every game and also coached basketball for 10 years. First of all, after the first 13 minutes when clearly UCLA played greatly, and go up to a 19 pt lead, our gils found their footing and the game played back and forth for the rest of that game, given that thety had made a cross...

    WBB

I think there is some major over reaction to the UCLA game. South Carolina does not have the most dominant big in the country but does have the most talent in the country and are playing that way now. UCLA had not shot the ball from the three up to our game, which altered how we chose to play...

Dawn Staley speaks out on pay disparity

The game is which the wbb team vs LSU had more viewers than the Celtics/Heat game at the same time was a regular season game in January. Also the women's final game had more viewers than the men's game this year 18.9 Million viewers fo the women's final to 14. 6 million for the Men.

Dawn Staley speaks out on pay disparity

But judging by the viewership numbers they are outpacing many pro sports thus they have inherent worth or otherwise they would not be able re-work deals with Espn and be changing their financial landscape.

Dawn Staley speaks out on pay disparity

Basically the only reason the women have not turned a profit and the men even as average as ours has is due to Units given out during March Madness for getting in an advancing. This greatly benefits the bottom line of many men's teams. The thing is, because of the greatly increased interest in...

Dawn Staley speaks out on pay disparity

That is where the new fan has a very narrow understanding of what has been occuring for the past 5 years. The LSU/ SC game did not involve Clark this year, yet it outpaced the Celtics/Heat Game in a head to head viewing. The SEC Championship game with LSU outdrew every other professional event...

Dawn Staley speaks out on pay disparity

Do a cursory search of per game average attendance for not only SC but Uconn, Iowa, Iowa State, Texas etc... and you will see that in the top 10 or so programs the women draw as many and in some places more than their male counterparts. I am not saying the women have passed the men, just that...
