    Altavista vs. Essex Round 2

    Don't know much about Essex but if it is close and comes down to the kicking game my money is on AltaVista, they have one of the best kickers if not the best kicker in the area. kick offs in the end zone, and has the leg and the accuracy to nail a 50 yarder.

    Lee High Dominates running game over Appomattox.

    Singlewinger92 hit the nail on the head. Keep in mind Appomattox only has 6 seniors a small junior class. You were playing against a majority of sophmores and freshman, and we had several freshman that started on the line. Congrats to Lee.

    Never questioned the politics involved. But Gretna is not the only school to have kids get the short end of the stick.

    Several years ago i questioned a coach on how these kids were chosen. He said the coaches get together and they all lobby for there particular players.
