BB Recruiting Rutgers Basketball adds International big man prospect Mervedi Miteo

No, he was a starter for their U22 team. Got called up for a few games and averaged less than 2 ppg for the big club. Interesting kid at that age though.

OT: We may win the World Cup in 2026

This is MLS argument against some other leagues, the parity due to the salary budget rules. The top teams may be a slight step down, but bottom teams are probably stronger than some of the other leagues.

They would if so many teams didn't make the playoffs and there was relegation.

Relegation won't be, but only because the structure is already set. Its also a great thing, eliminates the crap tanking you see, keeps the regular season meaningful through out and rewards properly run clubs rather than just giving $ a permanent seat at the table.

Perhaps I should have said we may not see it. I do think the MLs model of no relegation removes some of the franchise ownership risk and inflates the valuations compared to Euro teams. Its financially a top 10 league, not sure if top 10 quality yet. Need to lure top, young talent and keep it.

The US will never have the best players playing here. The money and top international club teams are too established elsewhere. I'm a huge soccer fan and haven't watched a half hour of MLS play combined in my life. We can be a retirement home home good players, kind of like Florida, for the US.

Basketball has the same issue as Footy with the fouls. Allowed people to get away w acting like they were fouled, also call things differently for different levels of players so it becomes part of the game. At least both sports are now trying to penalize for faking or flopping. I could not...

OT: We may win the World Cup in 2026

A really great tournament, congrats to Spain. They were, by far, the best team. What a defense, glad to see my boy Porro get some flowers and begrudgingly have to say Cuccarella was excellent all tournament too. As a coach, had to be hard leaving Messi out there for the last 50 minutes...

OT: We may win the World Cup in 2026

All I hear is people complaining about the three point line and the over reliance on it. Has it made the game better, or just different?

What's the why to closest to the ball instead of you throw it out you lose possessioni?

Are these your English friends that were complaining about being in Mexico City despite England being based in Kansas City?

I actually like watching lacrosse once in a while, but still have zero idea why guys can't play offense and defense. And the whole I'm closer to the ball thing when it goes out of play is dumber than a clock that counts upward.

Ive said from the beginning I thought France was the most talented, but Argentina the best put together team. Spain giving me pause.

They actually called it assoccer, soccer was the slang. They stopped using soccer because they deemed it too American

OT: We may win the World Cup in 2026

All sports are highly imperfect. Football, 11 minutes of action in a 60 minute game. Football and Lacrosse, most only play offense or defense. Basketball, people complain the 3 is used too much now and any physicality is frowned on. Baseball, love it, but boring as hell until big games. The...
