Why not try Hail Mary there?

    Dani Carnegie commits to iowa!

Based on the way she played tonight, MW might be the 3/4 answer.

    IA/AZ Final Four Link

Don't know if this has been discussed, but if both Iowa and AZ make it to final four it will be first time for each school since Lute Olsen was their coach.

*****FDU vs Iowa NCAAT Game Thread*****

First half distribution of minutes was baffling. Stremlow needs to be on court and Houston needs more minutes. They are the sparks that make things go when we get bogged down.

    Sage and Howard should start

Howard needs more minutes regardless if he is a starter. He’s our best defender and much needed on a team that consistently struggles stopping guard penetration.

    WR Evan James commits

Interesting note on Bradshaw is that he grew up rooting for Hawkeyes and wanted to be a Hawkeye.

    Koen Entringer to the portal

He became famous as a special teamer under Woods. My guess is he has a very tight relationship and is going to MSU.

Why the zone? Seems so unnecessary. Thought our man d was doing fine.

    ****Iowa vs Vanderbilt Game Thread*****

The play design was great. The personnel was questionable.

What are we still wanting to add for next years team?

Ball handlers with foot speed. This team is lacking in foot speed. I think Deal and Stremlow are decent ball handlers but lack foot speed to take defenders off the dribble.

Ole Miss is exactly the type of team…

My thoughts as well. Under Fran we usually did not match up well with tough, athletic teams. Nice to see we matched their toughness, and hopefully we'll start to combine it with more athleticism in future recruiting.
