    I do recall Rooks being a very good player and the tailback was good as well. Ran hard and had good speed. He did not play the entire second half though. Not sure what happened if he got hurt i am not sure.

    I would think Duke would be a little cautious with recruiting him due to his brothers recent dropping of them when he had committed to Duke. Just my thoughts though.

    Small 2A Playoff Projection

    Lincolnton is playing its best football right now and I aint sure if Maiden is as good as their record indicates. Just a gut feeling. I look for Lincolnton to make a deep solid run in the playoffs.

    I heard that East Lincoln played last weeks game with out one of its top defensive players. I think due to being sick. Did not get the young mans name but when healthy I think they will stand a pretty good shot at anyone in the area. Just my opinion.
