    Where are all the fiscal conservatives?

    There are differing perspectives on “can” and “should” as well. In many cases, I think entitlements do more harm than good over the long term, even if the short term intent is well-meaning. Encouraging government dependence, even indirectly, is a bad thing imo.

    Not even close to rich. Government takes a huge bite. Saving for retirement. Mortgage to live in a nice area with good schools. Couple of kids. A family vacation. Etc. That’s gone before you know it.

    The link also says that snap recipients dropped by 13% with the new work requirements. That is such common sense legislation. It’s shocking the Democrats opposed something so logical that was even championed by Bill Clinton.
