    As much as I've been down on Pike and staff, I have to give them credit for both the CCSU wing and here for the VT center. The first one, from DR, not so much. Let's see how this plays out. Also good they kept a few from this year. It's shaping up to a rather young team though.

    Pike certainly doesn't get or deserve the benefit of the doubt here. All this reinforces that when Pike is fired at end of 26, we should hire a coach that is not paid in top 25 and use the budget for players. Pike is paid as a top 25 coach for what exactly?

    Tariq is good, but he is a small, ball dominant guard...depends on how we want to play next season. Will he be better with better players around him? I am not sure. Baye is top on my list to bring here.
