    OT: Caribbean Vacation

I went to Curacao in November and absolutely loved it. Not a whole lot to do, but that was what I wanted to do -- pretty much nothing. People were great. Food was good. No one hounding you on the beach. I felt safe when I ventured out.

Look on your health insurance card. If there is a little symbol usually on the bottom right that looks like a suitcase, then you probably have travel insurance through your primary health insurance. Give them a call though to see if you are covered, and what you are covered for.

    OT: Electric vehicles

I'm on the waiting list for a Rivian R2. Tentative order date of Nov 2026 - Feb 2027. I didn't think I was interested in autonomous driving, but might be rethinking it. I thought it needed to be on a road with lines -- not necessarily a highway, but even if it had a line down the middle. Is...

    OT: Caribbean Vacation

I generally get it if I'm laying out a couple of thousand for a trip. You never know what comes up, especially if you are planning a few months in advance. Could be weather, your health, a family members health, etc...I've always used Allianz. I've had to use it twice, and I got every penny back.

OT: Road trip to Chicago and Milwaukee

I was going to reply, but it looks like TT resurrected my post. I had to rent a car to get from Chicago to Milwaukee because the last train out of Milwaukee was too early. It was about a 75 minute drive from OHare to the Brewers Stadium. I didn't get to experience Milwaukee, as I arrived too...

    OT: Caribbean Vacation

I’ve booked a few vacations through Costco. Very satisfied with the service and accommodations. Things like transfers to and from the airport are usually included, so you don’t have to worry about that. Then you usually get some extra perks, as well as a Costco cash card when your trip is complete.

AP, Ocean Township, Deal, Long Branch got it the worst.

OT: Major Heatwave To Roast New Jersey

Power out in Tinton Falls since about 6:25. Went out to the tip of the Hook to see the tall ships. I thought auntie Em was going to fly by. Lots of limbs down in the roads on the way home. Temperature dropped to 73 driving home.

Football NCAA approves landmark age-based eligibility model

I always think to myself "why bother with all these rules if they are always going to be challenged in court"?
