    Cincy

UC has played a lot more man recently on defense. They'll still use the matchup zone on occasion, but I wouldn't expect to see much of it tomorrow...

Gary Parrish radio show ( great Calipari story)

His DUI and contined player/recruit legal problems made it impossible not to fire him. But you certainly have to blame university president Nancy Zimpher as well. She fired Huggins in September, I believe, and by the time Mick was hired he only had one scholarship player on the entire roster (a...

Gary Parrish radio show ( great Calipari story)

Yes and no. Great defensive coach and he did a phenomenal job rebuilding in the Big East after Huggins wrecked the program, but I'm not sure he can take the program any further. He hasn't recruited very well (and yes some of that is due to garbage facilities/conference affiliation) and that...

Gary Parrish radio show ( great Calipari story)

If it was Cronin and Teague, then it was definitely regarding UC's recruitment of Teague and had nothing to do with Louisville's recruitment of him. UC was up there with Louisville until Kentucky started calling. I will say, that it is rather disappointing to see how the story changed in the...

    Scouting Cincinnati

I wasn't referring to your post, my apologies. Rereading my own post I can see how you would infer that I was talking to you but that was not the intent. With regard to Ellis, yes he does have anger issues. When he was 12 he watched his stepfather shoot and kill his mother. That is no excuse...

    Scouting Cincinnati

Ellis was ejected in the 2nd half. And yes that's true Purdue only had one 7 footer in at a time while UK will always have two. That could pose the biggest problem for clark who is a good post up player but usually goes up against someone his own size.

    Scouting Cincinnati

Just stop with the thug comments. Not a single player under Cronin has been arrested. Just stop. Aside from that, great scouting report. UC hangs their hat on defense and rebounding, but they'll need to really limit live ball tirnovers and shoot great from three to have a chance. I'm just glad...

    Do Cincinnati fans really exist?

Die bard UC fan here. I grew up in Cincinnati, but didn't go to school there and now live in New York City so I cant really speak to the current state of the fan base. As far as my views towards UK. Respect the program, respect the passion and dedication of the fans I will say that I have...

People aren't really scared of Cincinnati are they?

Some of you (exhibit A ^^^) are f*cking idiots. This is not a team of thugs. We aren't going to fight you if we get run out of the gym tomorrow. We are going to play our asses off, scrap for every loose ball and rebound, and most likely lose by 15+. Also, for the comments about the violence...

    Tulsa -2

UC has a higher rating on offense according to Kenpom. UC's offense can struggle at times because of turnovers, not because they can't score. I'd expect UC to throw the ball to Ellis or Clark on every possession as I think that is where UC has their biggest advantage.

    Tulsa -2

Not sure I agree with saying "Tulsa is much much better on offense." UC shoots better from the field, the 3 point line and the free throw line.

    Memphis Post Game Thoughts

BTW, I'm curious, is this the first meeting between the two schools since Tulsa beat UC in the tournament after Kenyon Martin's injury?

    Memphis Post Game Thoughts

UC has made it a priority to push the ball off of defensive rebounds the past few games and it has led to much better offensive performances, albeit against bottom feeders. Not sure why it took UC this long to play fast given the amount of athleticism on the squad, but it has led to a much more...
