I dont think Fleck will end up at Rutgers. The media here would kill Rutgers for its lack of "vetting".
But its not that he has these "much better offers" lined up. Illinois is a good fit for him.
That would be a hell of an out of the box hire. A 67 year old FCS head coach of 4 years. I will say that I don't think age would be a problem with him. He has a ton of energy.
