Here is the issue with Soldier Field. The City of Chicago has its hand in everything. The location is a turn-off for NU fans and most games regardless of who you play will make that place look empty. Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Agree because compared to three win or less seasons is soo much better. Keeping someone for the "long haul' means what over 3 of the the last 4 seasons? Because if there has been a "plan" it sure doesn't look like much.
Also Peay had nowhere near NUs commitment to the program in terms of facilities and salary. Off the top Fitz has lost to Illinois State and SIU. And I think he may have a losing record against the MAC.
