The REAL QUESTION should be is Kentucky the SAME team today it was then? Obvious answer is NO. However, when Duke and UL to provide just 2 examples, have lost to HORRIBLE teams in the last 2 to 4 weeks it means that is WHO they are NOW.
I think it is a good hire for UL. Especially given their current situation. I also believe Mack will recruit better players at UL than he had at Xavier. How well he does...we shall see.

Yes there is a Duke bias but its not as bad when the committee seeds them as many on here claim.
As stated in other posts they have had tough draws often the last few years.
UNC has more quality wins and a much tougher conference. However, the head to head makes it interesting.
I think UK can get South 1 seed if UL or UNC don't win the ACC Tourney and we win SEC tourney
In 1998 when UK lost at home to Ole Miss late in the season everyone said that was the worst team and I believe their record was even better. We ALL know how they finished up. Im still optimistic that they have their best games left and we will find out a lot on SATURDAY!
If UK wins out they will be a 2 seed. As of now, I would say the committee has UK as number 9 or 10. We only need to jump 1 or 2 teams but to be in the South we need to jump 3 to 5 depending on who is left standing as it pertains to geography.
Lets argue that Mulders defenses is equal to Briscoes, but his rebounding is slightly less(with more minutes who knows), but he gives you so much more on offense. With him in the game it opens up more driving lanes and I argue if he played 20 to 25 minutes he would be a double figure scorer.
