    LOL, this argument is almost as sad as the kindergarten-level insult in the thread title. UConn is 15-0 and doesn't care what a few jealous Rutgers fans think about them. We have a good team, no doubt, but are currently nowhere near the level of the University of Connecticut Huskies.

    "Easily" 10,000? No, but it's a nice thought. Attendance predictions on this board are almost always inflated, especially on the football board. I'll go with 8,500 which is a very respectable turnout.

    Great news and I'm glad this is happening for men's basketball. With 2 (actually 3) straight tournament appearances it has become the flagship athletic program of our university. I don't care if we are known as a "basketball school" -- to me that is a good thing. Go RU!

    If we had finished what looked like a sure win at Miami (I was there) and/or taken care of business against The Hall, I would agree with Seth. At this point, though, I don't think there's enough of a resume to predict this team will go further than the superior '21 and '22 teams. Yet.

    While the Rutgers athletic department is mostly incompetent, I doubt losing a few concession dollars from a holiday game against Bucknell will affect future plans. They already knew the students would be gone and that attendance would be a bit lighter due to Christmas. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Plus, Bucknell just played on Wednesday night in Richmond and already have a short turnaround. Making them play an even earlier game wouldn’t really be fair.
