    Portal 2026 is Now Open

    Banks really didn’t have a choice. He doesn’t know if he will get an extra year … and McCollum can’t just sit and wait with the portal open now. Banks won’t be drafted … but his fate in the hands of the NCAA - whenever that decision comes re: and extra year. Would like to see him land back at Iowa.

    Addie is going to be just fine. We’ve seen what she can do. She’s a freshman in one of the toughest conferences. She’s going to be a good one for Iowa.

    I absolutely count on that. I’m concerned with the direction we are heading … but be realistic … when you look at T’s overall body of work - Beth G is not going to fire T for one bad season. Simply will not happen…

    It’s Hecklinski os bust. Iowa seems okay with riding that coat tail … it’s a big risk for a guy who hasn’t seen many slaps. However, many, many teams bring out first-year starters.
