    Agreed on all counts. But their resume is stronger and that bowl has never invited RU. My guess is Iowa and Michigan split Tampa and Nashville, and Nebraska is off to Pinstripe. RU to the Rate Bowl…as most predict. I’m not sure what other options there would be to play out.

    If Nebraska went to Rate, where would that put RU? I wouldn’t mind a Louisville - RU rematch in Charlotte…but I really doubt that would happen. It seems everyone would be picked before RU in the non-CFP bowl games. Even Minny but their record to be fair is better.

    Interesting…no Baylor or K-State, etc. We would be chosen last in the B1G in bowl order selection but not a surprise, leaving us Rate. Better than Detroit or a return to the Bronx for sure IMO (never happening anyway). But you never know, these are just projections…

    We’d go to Phoenix in a heartbeat. Insight in 2005 was the best RU bowl by far. We’d get a good opponent and warm weather. I cannot see any Florida bowl picking RU over the other teams available.

    Even if we win and beat MSU, we would not end up in Detroit as Phoenix picks first. Again, there is virtually no chance we go back to Pinstripe 2 years in a row. It’s Phoenix, Detroit or possibly Charlotte.

    Also, if Wisky and MSU win, that could be enough to push us out of a B1G bowl and have to find a 2nd tier or at-large bowl somewhere- likely not a good one but who knows. But if we’re 6-6 the I’d understand and would obviously have to accept that.

    Agreed. MSU with 6 wins to Detroit, that’s what several news services believe most likely. It still might not help us though…
