I was in High School in 1970 - 1974 and remembering seeing it as well. I also remember them doing the draft lottery. I still remember my number from the draw to this date - A1 - 013. They were taking the first 100 or so at that time.
Just watching the Penn State - Wisconsin game. Man, both of these teams are light years ahead of us. PS QB goes out and the 2nd String guy could start anywhere.
