Concur. Franck was a waste of a scholarship and whatever money we paid him.

    UK -11.5 vs. Vandy

All I know is UK better not blow their season up by sleep-walking through this one after a couple of highly emotional games that are now generating national buzz and headlines that can cause a team to get cocky. Win and set up a MASSIVE national showdown in Knoxville.

    First Takes

Tough seeing highlights and stats for BYU's backcourt and not wondering "what if" that was UK's .... Wright and Chandler will be a top 5 backcourt.

    First Takes

I'm not saying now. I just see it in the way he moves, shoots, and defends. His block at the rim was elite, and typically that's a bucket or and-one against UK's interior. He's also still very inexperienced and young. Give it 2 years.

    First Takes

Worthless first impressions from an exhibition: Zoom is who he was at Washington and is going to frustrate the hell out of us with bad turnovers. Mason Williams was underrated given that he was outside the top 100 and he is likely going to be a serviceable, impactful true freshman PG at a...

    JJ Taylor to UK?

If he just wants to wear the jersey and be part of the program, learning how to be responsible and accountable this year on the bench, so be it. Why should we care? He isn't going to be a difference maker at this stage. He doesn't even know the regime, plays, etc. That said, it all seems like...

    Big Blue Madness

Asked some IU friends, they didn't even know about it b/c it was just an open practice or something. Nobody was willing to drive to it.

    Big Blue Madness takeaways...

My son looked it up while we were there, to put it in perspective, the most points in an NBA 3-pt contest was 31 by Steph Curry. Unguarded, it's *really* difficult to score that many points. (Granted, Madness offered the bonus ball.)

    Big Blue Madness

As someone who has attended Madness since '95, not consecutively but throughout all coaching tenures since, I have some thoughts about last night. Overall, my honest take is it's time to re-boot the whole experience. Let me be direct: that was the least amount of energy in the building for a...

CBS (Parrish) lifts Kentucky after Mitchell...

Argument can be made that UK will have a top 2-3 frontcourt in the nation, especially if Ousmane turns out to be good (I'm talking much better than Jelavic and Big Z at UK). The question is how will the backcourt play under the lights. Biggest question mark, IMO.

    Kohler/UK/Zoom call tom

I wish programs were more cut-throat in this NIL era. Hawthorne's brother has no business being on scholarship in this hyper-competitive era where every roster spot matters. We should be in position to take Kohler AND Mitchell and be loaded.

    Joe tipton "mark mitchell"

If UK can close here, I'll be genuinely excited about this team. He is a beast and has proven it against UK, among other teams. Not some mid-major we're relying on to make the leap to the next level. Mitchell almost single-handedly beat UK in the SECT last year. Optimistic here. But these...

Torres: Calipari will land the #1 recruiting class again in 2027.

Both of these can be true at the same time, and UK fans seem incapable of acknowledging it: 1 - It was time for Calipari to move on. 2 - UK panicked and made a bad hire when Mark Pope was offered the job.

    Xaivian lee to enter portal

He was dreadful the first half of last season. But of course he showed out against UK.

He likely would have in the NIL era.
