    UConn Is great at basketball and no power 4 conference will take them. Financially, basketball is irrelevant. It just doesn’t make a revenue difference.

    Then take the money away from basketball. It does not register nationally in terms of revenue. Much more important to be .500 or above in football. Super conference is coming and basketball will be irrelevant.

    Basketball does not register financially or revenue wise. Look at UConn. If we take money away from football, we will still suck at basketball, just at a lower level. Not saying I don't enjoy or support basketball, but it just does not matter in the big picture.

    The big split between power 2 football and the rest of college programs is coming soon. Separation is based completely on football. It would be insane if we don’t spend every penny possible on football.
