    +1 on Grand Cayman, went there on my honeymoon (2019) we loved it. Felt safe, good food. Beautiful beaches etc. We flew nonstop from Chicago which is also nice. Smaller islands you often need to connect.

    Having been a bartender in Chicago I still thinking tipping in a terrible system. Servers made like 4/hr and barbacks made 8/hr. This was ~2014. Was actually kind of absurd how much money we'd make on a Friday/ Saturday night though.

    The easiest play is stay off the red/ purple south of belmont. Old town is prob a good call. Lots of bars/ restaurants/ second city and right off the water/ parks.
