    I love Jack...I'm not at all a jack detractor. But in the interested of having an honest discussion, I think the beef on Jack is that he is 'too soft'. And these kinds of goals are wonderful, but don't do much to change that narrative since there obviously is no such thing as 3x3 OT in the playoffs.

    I assume the idea is early in the game if your odds of getting a first down is more than 3/7 (~43%) you should go for it? 4th and 4 seems to me like borderline, but maybe Greg has become a stats guy?

    I dunno. The college game is all about player development. The coaches that can develop those skills and game senses just do better. Offensive or defensive 'wizardry' is really secondary. Most teams that win would still win even if they gave you their whole playbook a week in advance. What I saw...

    Portnoy is an absolute a**. And the pizza up here in Mass in general tastes like how I just described Portnoy. However, if you are in this neck of the woods Reginas in the north end (old school) and Area 4 in Cambridge are both excellent pizza.

    I don't think people take into account the 'rationing' of energy players have to do to survive the playoffs. Fans want everyone to play every shift at 100% all the time, but it just doesn't work like that. The Friday night game was an absolute must win, and as a result they laid it all out...

    Yeah 5 D playing 4+ periods.... I just hope they have something left for Sunday. Siegs looked rusty but to be expected hopefully he shakes it off.
