    I think we can agree that playing man D in HS and college are two different things because the speed is much different. In your example GG wasn't ready for the speed of the game on D and couldn't cover his guy as a result. Too much thinking because things weren't coming naturally made him slow...

    In the age of endless three point shots in HS basketball, man to man D is played plenty unless you want to quickly lose a game. Plus a lot of these guys play EYBL, etc. and I don't recall seeing much zone there when I've watched. Though defense seemed optional in some of those games...lol.

    These guys insisting the game needs to change to suit their needs just show their lack of depth about the sport. The grassroots level has never been bigger and all these kids are growing up understanding & appreciating the sport unlike the couple of boomers whining here.

    All the women teams wear them as well in practice and games. Apparently helps teams determine rest, recovery, workouts. I think my baseball contact told me that the pitchers wore something as well so they could track certain things with their arms.
