In my day--50's & early 60's-- we didn't have weight training. Don't remember anywhere near the number of injuries as there are today. We did do hard physical work however.
In baseball you see all kinds of lat, shoulder, groin, etc injuries. Never saw those. I think the guys are just wound too...
Was not very impressed with Hammill. Thought she lacked speed & quickness & that her decision making was so-so. Bradley, of course, was another matter.
