    Giraldo question

I saw Jordan Burroughs absolutely dismantle Scott Winston at the NCAAs in Philly (quarterfinals, I think), and saw Cael Sanderson at the NCAAs in Albany for his fourth title. Both were transcendent wrestlers. Cael's 4th title run was as close to a coronation as I had ever seen, outclassing a...

    RU/WISCONSIN MATCH PREVIEW

I attended the Bound Brook vs. Phillipsburg dual last night and saw two Rider coaches in attendance. I REALLY hope that Goodale et al. are recruiting the two Bound Brook stars - Mekhi Lewis (145) and Stephen Glascow (152). I was really impressed with the former last night. Great rider.

RU Wrestling : Next up NorthEast Duels

If so, what a pity. A lot of talent, and a route to a college education. God willing, he may have a change of heart. If not, I hope the best for him and his life

RU Wrestling : Next up NorthEast Duels

Correnti may be an option at 197 as a frosh. He's wrestling 220 this year, but is he closer to 197 for Div 1 or does he project to move to 285? Anyone know Tyree Sutton's status? Is he actually at Nassau CC and wrestling? He didn't wrestle for Nassau at the Northeast Duals.

RU Wrestling : Next up NorthEast Duels

That was my intention too. I was looking forward to Normandia at 197; he went toe to toe with Anthony Cassar, who has been competing well with the Evil Empire in Happy Valley. But I wonder how Normandia can compete against B1G heavies with the leverage one usyally sees in large-framed...

I know the season just started, but I'm wondering about next year's 285. Any info about options that Goodale is exploring?

OTE="wngarbarini, post: 816578, 2420"]Mackel from Ohio at 125. Normandia is doing a nice job at 285. He looks like a doughboy but lost to Smith 4-1. Couldn't make the wrestle-off, but I couldn't imagine how Normandia could put on good weight on that small frame. He looked like he could drop...

Without Camp at 197, don't we risk wearing out Hrymack at 197 when we tri-meets? Or do we have someone who can step up every once in a while. Normandia is not an option, is he? We'll need a reserve at 285 for Smith for the same reason

    Wrestling Season Preview Article

I agree. Both are fine wrestlers. Smith has performed to seed at nationals. Russo was an awesome duals presence, with several wins over top 10. But Philly in 2011 just killed me. I was there for the entire tourney and REALLY expected an All-American from that squad. We were loaded, but no AA...
